Pogačar scores 70.1% of the points
The salary split follows the results. Slovenia's 12 riders scored 6,963 points in 2026. Pogačar scored 4,881 of them, or 70.1%. His contract runs to 2032, the longest of any Slovenian.
Prize money tells the same story. Pogačar's results generated €809,135 in 2026 prize money, out of €861,555 for all 12 Slovenians. That money is generated, not kept: most of it is shared with teammates and staff, and the share a rider receives is a Model estimate.
Roglič is 36 and has no 2027 contract
Roglič is 36. In our contracts data he has no contract for 2027, which puts the second-largest Slovenian salary in doubt. Four Slovenians in total have no 2027 contract, and Luka Mezgec retires at the end of 2026.
Bahrain is Slovenia's team
Five of the 12 ride for Bahrain Victorious, more than at any other team. Their salaries add up to €2.1M (Model), led by Matej Mohorič.
The next generation is there too. Jakob Omrzel is 20, scored 400 points in 2026 and has a contract to 2029. His salary is €206k (Model). Only Pogačar and Roglič scored more points among Slovenians this season.
Eleven of the 12 ride for WorldTeams. Tilen Finkšt is the only one at a ProTeam. The full list is on our Slovenia page, and the wider picture is in the highest-paid cyclists ranking.
